Startup Europe Week was an initiative of the European Commission and Startup Europe.

Within a week, on 1-5 February thousands of dedicated meetings took place in more than 200 cities in almost 40 European countries. Following the example of similar initiatives of that kind in Silicon Valley, the organizers aimed to integrate on local scale active young entrepreneurs.

European Week of Startups aimed at promoting the best initiatives to support businesses, encourage regional authorities, investors and corporations to create stronger local ecosystems, and to provide support by organizing counseling sessions.

As part of the Startup Europe Week in Bielsko-Biala, a meeting was held on 4th of February 2016 in Beskid Technology Incubator, organized by Regional Development Agency in Bielsko-Biala.

First part of the meeting was devoted to the possibilities of finding local financial aid and local capital and counseling.

The second part of the meeting was devoted to networking.

The meeting was attended by over 40 entrepreneurs, trainers and lecturers.
